The last ‘Here’s one more thing’
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma -- which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice."
Steve Jobs, Stanford, 2005.
Today in the UK, people will be turning out in their thousands to queue up for the last iPhone launched in the era of Steve Jobs. I’m not going to write a eulogy to for Jobs, nor am I going to name out his phenomenal achievements- I’ll just keep it short and sweet and say ‘Jobs Changed The Game’- a creative genius who saw the world in a way most of us never will.
The industry has been very vocal in their acknowledgement of the loss of a great innovator and friend, including Bill Gates who said “The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor. I will miss Steve immensely”.
For those of you who are a fan of Jobs will understand my title for this blog instantly so here’s one more thing; Jobs made technology relatable and brought it into our homes, careers and pockets and for that we thank him.
