Eat Taste and Grow Launch

Combined Media have developed an interactive teaching resource for Safefood and the Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland. ‘Eat Taste and Grow’ aims to increase awareness among primary school children in Northern Ireland of the origins of their food and local produce, and the role this plays in healthy eating.

Combined Media Design Moher Farm Touchscreen Kiosk

Combined Media collaborated with Touchpoint to create a state of the art touchscreen kiosk to be placed in the Moher Farm Visitor centre. Moher Farm (Co. Clare) is a well-known petting zoo in Ireland, and they decided to enlist the services of Combined Media and Touchpoint to create a more interactive visitor centre at their farm.

Brand new web site for OCO.ie unveiled

The new web site for the Ombudsman for Children (www.oco.ie) is now live. The web site redesigned and redeveloped by Combined Media allows the user easy use and a welcoming design presenting the information in an interesting and accessible Content Management system.

edcoDigital.ie & edcoExamCentre.ie Launch

EDCO DIGITAL EDCE EXAMCENTRE

edcoDigital.ie is a teachers resource site developed by Combined Media for the Educational Company of Ireland (EDCO) that allows teachers to access Irish curriculum-based textbooks in an easy-to-use online viewer to be shown on a large screen at the front of the classroom. The teacher is able to navigate through the books using the online digital tools and are also able to customise the books by adding links and bookmarking pages so they can return at a later date. It also provides a host of downloadable resources that complement the books such as; class plans, teacher notes, revision questions, powerpoints and podcasts.

edcoExamCentre.ie is an online test facility for Junior Cert & Leaving Cert students produced by Combined Media. The web site contains multiple choice quizzes and activities, are marked instantly and are ideal for revision.

John B. Keane’s “Sive” with the RTE Guide

Combined Media have teamed up with the RTE Guide yet again to help celebrate 50 years of John B. Keane's Sive. To help celebrate the occasion the RTE Guide is giving a free CD Rom of their radio recording of the play, produced and designed by Combined Media. The CD Rom also includes student notes for Leaving Certificate students.
