Web Design & Development

We develop all manner of websites including; Intranets, extranets, corporate web sites, branded sites, unbranded sites(pharma) and database driven eCommerce sites. Our experienced in-house team have a great range of skills spanning the creative and technology fields. Technology
We use a variety of technologies and select the appropriate one following a period of consultation on each project. We are flexible in our approach, and are not tied to any one system or provider. We partner with and develop using a variety of technologies including Microsoft, Realex, Adobe Coldfusion, Expression Engine, Drupal and PHP. Content Management Systems - we use a variety including Expression Engine, MODx and Drupal. All are PHP based and live on both Microsoft and Unix/Linux platforms.
Flash - we develop extensively in Flash and have created Flash sites and applications of varying complexity. We develop in ActionScript 2 and 3, FLEX and for Adobe AIR. We have developed a range of Flash applications that allow offline/online functionality, and have developed new Flash components for networking, security and multi-touch screens.
Coldfusion - as a Coldfusion developer, we can both design and build new systems or manage and support existing ones.

Animation
Combined Media have an in-house animation team that can develop from scratch animated characters and animated movies. Examples include www.thrush.ie, EdcoDigital & Safefood (Tastebuds, Safefood for life).
Touch-Screen
Touch-screen and multi-touch software development is something Combined Media have recently been involved with. With our partners, Touchpoint Interactive, we have developed and deployed multiple applications for touch-screen and now multi-touch projects. These systems can be delivered as networked kiosks for WayFinding solutions, tracking and registration systems and for customer information and data capture, as is the case with Vodafone.
